Preparing nutritious food preparation after baby arrives is part of my Postpartum Doula work…
Why do you need a Postpartum Doula? Because YOU need nourished, so you can nourish and meet the needs of your new baby!

Are you absolutely exhausted from pregnancy and the hard work of labor?
I completely understand! Now is a time you need support more than ever. I’m here to gently coach you on newborn care, helping work through getting a proper latch, and listening to you tell me about your birth: the highs, the lows, the excitement and the reality of it all.
But I’m also here to help you heal and nourish your body as you make this transition from pregnancy to New Mama. You need to rest and heal. You need to nestle in with your newborn and have all the skin-on-skin time you can get. You need to focus on your milk supply. It’s so easy to focus all of your energy and attention on that beautiful new baby, but neglect yourself and your needs right now. That’s why I’m here. To prepare you a nutritious meal and healing tea, and help you get a much needed nap. Wouldn't it be a relief to rest at ease, knowing that I’m helping take care of you so you can take care of your new baby? I’ve got you covered!
Some of the healing, nutrient dense foods that I can prepare and stock your fridge with so you have something easy and nutritious right away, just when you need it!
- kefir
- bone broth
- egg bake or bites
- protein balls
- warming lactation teas which can be reheated when you need them
- browned beef or sausage that can be easily integrated into a simple, protein-rich meal.
- nutrient dense chicken or beef vegetable soups made with bone broth and warming herbs and spices
A few of the meals I like to prepare for new Mamas to strengthen and feed their bodies so they can heal and produce a bountiful milk supply:

Allow me to prepare and feed you nutrient dense foods while you enjoy skin-on-skin time with baby and recover from birth. We’ll come up with a custom plan to perfectly meet your needs for nourishment, rest, and coaching during your first weeks settling in with your new baby. Have special dietary needs? No problem! I can even shop for ingredients so both you and your partner can rest and enjoy special bonding time together.
